I am a part of this impossible mystery

It’s not absurd
for members of the first species
who are aware of the scope of terrors in the universe
 to have an “off day.”

The miracle of existence is
a sacred humiliation,
a holy terror,
a paradoxical blessing,
a benevolent fluke,
and an impossible mystery.

I am a part of this impossible mystery.

May this “off day”
be an unexpected invitation to feel,
in my body,
the miracle of
my mysterious existence.

Hi friends.

I was in a documentary called Dust and Color and director Filipe Amado is going to be showing his doc IN MY STUDIO next Thursday. I’ll be hosting a small group in my studio to watch the film and then have a Q&A about all things creativity. There will be some snacks and drinks as well.
