Ó Cuinn, another light in line of Conn, Oh rare and bright uniter of the clans, What honest plans have ye by mental brawn, To lead us down this maze of aeon spans? And when ye stand upon that Tara stone, To survey life and all so loved by thee, What ray of hope through clouded sky hath shone, As wind rips ‘round the roar of Destiny? Through hundred battles ye shall calmly be, A leader who is brave and wise and just, And, when within thee, glowing fire we see, We come to know the chief in whom we trust, Oh Quinn, thy power is thy reason strong, And so too is thy heart for which we long.
