Today is the final day to speak out against Parq Casino’s predatory expansion of 300 more slot machines near Chinatown.

In Flushing, Queens in New York City, people organized against plans for a proposed mega-casino.
In Chicago’s Chinatown, community members are raising concerns about a casino shuttle bus that target neighbourhood residents with hourly service.
We know Parq Casino is targeting older East Asian community members. They are running a large-scale marketing campaign that features an older East Asian woman wearing a jade necklace in a screaming expression with slots in her mouth, highlighting the “thrill” of slot machines.
Parq’s VP of Marketing, Karen Gray, states that the campaign “showcas[es their] core players’ real emotions and excitement.”
We don’t have to accept this.
Tonight, Tues, Feb 17, at 6pm is the public hearing for Parq’s 300-slot expansion.
