Many of our customers used to hire full-time product analysts/ops to setup and manage centralized taxonomies. Not only was this expensive to setup and maintain (every time a new feature is shipped or additional team wants to join), but it produced broad summarized themes (e.g. performance +10%) that didn’t actually help individual product teams get their own unique perspectives on customer problems and product features, and therefore blocked every team from driving business impact.

Sauce has innovated a new approach which requires zero setup/maintenance, is dynamically updating in real-time as new customer problems and product features arise, and is self-serve and personalized for every individual product team to drive business impact.

I’ll explain the difference between the old vs. new approach which is why leading product companies like Atlassian, Whatnot, Linktree, Zip and more choose Sauce.

TL;DR: Expensive setup/maintenance, high-level theme summarization for leadership

  • Setup: Requires weeks to months of setup (mapping nodes of the taxonomy).

  • Maintenance: Taxonomy is point-in-time (static) so you need a central team constantly maintaining it as new features, teams, problems, etc are shipped (does not scale so requires a FTE to manage).

  • High-level theme reporting for leadership: Provides a high-level org-wide summarization of themes based on the top-down taxonomy. Requires the person managing to create a dashboard for each team which is just a ‘filtered view’ of the top-down taxonomy, i.e. teams can’t get their own personalized and specific views on the product data which evolve constantly.

  • Result: Expensive ongoing setup/maintenance and individual teams can't get the perspectives they need for specific features/problems they care about (which evolve constantly) nor can you get emerging problems (understanding what’s new and/or changing outside of the pre-defined taxonomy).

TL;DR: Zero setup/maintenance, self-serve actionable product insights for individual teams to drive business impact

  • Setup: No setup required - actionable product insights in less than 2 minutes to get instant value

  • Maintenance: No maintenance required - analysis and clusters dynamically update in real-time as new customer problems and product features arise, as Sauce is establishing an adaptive (context) relationship graph in the back-end

  • Actionable insights for individual teams: Every individual team can self-serve and personalize insights on-the-fly to be actionable for their specific customer problems and product features they’re exploring or tracking in real-time, to drive instant business impact

  • Result: zero setup/maintenance and self-serve, real-time product insights personalized for every individual's specific problems/features to drive business impact

This is why leading product organizations like Atlassian, Whatnot, Zip, Linktree, and many more choose Sauce AI.

Additionally, Sauce is building the world’s first AI Product Impact Engine to 100x every product team’s impact. Our bottoms-up AI engine gives us a compounding advantage as we extend the product brain to dynamically synthesize quantitative and behavioural data, then proactively execute product workflows to drive business impact (e.g. personalized communications to close the loop on deals, churn, issues with GTM and customers).
