Welcome to August! I don’t know why I led with that. I’m not the host of August. We’re in Leo season, pre-pre-pre-Scorpio season, and I enjoy Leo culture. They’re fun and can be deployed as a diversionary tactic when one simply wishes to scuttle about in the darkness.
Thank you for your service, Leo people. Despite what you see above (me in character for a performance at The Paper Machete at Chicago’s famed Green Mill, where my bird friend Chad also performed) sometimes I just want to sit in the corner at the party and slowly drink some exotic nonalcoholic beverage. I appreciate you for doing cartwheels through the kitchen.

CHICAGO, WHERE I AM BASED IN A WITCH LAIR FULL OF CHERRY TOMATOES: I do an absurd show with my friend Chad the Bird, a puppet with whom people are obsessed on TikTok and Instagram. Chad’s roommate is my friend, actor Josh Zagoren. We met when we were 18 and troubled. Now we are your professors at CLASS! with Chad the Bird and Sara Benincasa.
