Hello from a very hot Paris.
We’re currently on day two of a week-long heatwave. Thankfully our landlord has two mobile AC units to take the edge off, but dear lord, it is hot. The only real way to survive temperatures like this (outside of AC) is sur la terrasse — ideally with a cold glass of pét-nat. Or ice cream.
I’m not sur la terrasse, but a bottle of pet-nat may or may not be open, which feels like the perfect companion for perusing a few private sales
Hope you had a lovely weekend! xx
Toteme Private Sale - up to 40% off. perhaps the best sale of the bunch. So many gems!
Khaite Private Sale - up to 40% off. Spotted my ride or die boots on sale.
The Row Private Sale - always a delight. I finally caved and picked up a pair of these corduroys.
TWP - up to 50% off. My reversible trench included! I take an xs, but probably could have done a small too.
Emme Parsons - 30% off select styles. I love my Danielle loafers. I also keep eyeing these sandals.
Donni - up to 60% off select styles. Currently eyeing these pants.
Furtuna Skin - buy more, save more up to 35% off. Their whole line is fabulous, but the cleansing balm, face oil and face and eye serum are exceptional.
Savette - Florence shoulder (scratches the same versatility and vibe as The Peggy)
Sold Out NYC - 20% of select style including my favorite tees and tanks.
Dr. Diamond Metacine Private Sale - 15% off sitewide. Including this serum.
St. Rose Perfume - 25% off. Slightly more niche, but if you love fragrance and clean, transparent ingredients, then St. Rose is one to have on your radar. I’ve been wanting a discovery set.
True Botanicals - 20% off over $200. I keep these eye patches on hand at all times. Ditto this lip treatment and face mist.
Jamie Haller white ballet flats back in stock!! I think I’m going to go for it and hope for the best. Also spotted a pair of drawstring chinos that peaked my interest. They remind of the Maria McManus ones I missed, (ditto the Donni one’s that I missed and The Row one’s that missed on sale)
The illusive Still Here Sport Jean restocked. I overestimated my size when I ordered them so I can’t speak to fit just yet (me and lower rises are on a break right now), but the pear color is perfect.
Róhe launched La Mariée, a stunning collection bridal collection filtered through the Róhe lens. Very much so for the woman who wants ceremony dressing to feel like an extension of her existing wardrobe rather than a costume. It’s thoughtful, directional and definitely wearable beyond a single day.
I’ve been perusing a lot of nylon-anorak-technical-ish pieces lately. Pieces that can seamlessly transition from athleisure to everyday. This this jacket and this anorak are currently top of mind.
It has come to my attention that the majority of my spring and summer wardrobe is packed away in storage in the US. Apparently pregnant Sarah wasn’t thinking about the summer after pregnancy. Whoops.
Needless to say, a little shopping is in order. This is what I’m gravitating towards.
