Hello lovely!
This month’s theme in the Gather & Grow membership is is generosity, and specifically, I’ve been thinking about a type of generosity that often gets overlooked.
Not generosity with our time or money, or even our attention. Something more inward and so, so powerful in terms of how it affects the way things turn out for ourselves.
Generosity with the stories we tell, about ourselves, about the world around us and what’s possible.
So often, we become the least generous narrator of our own lives. We assume we’ve failed or are simply not good enough, falling short in some area - or many areas! We feel slighted by someone and we imagine it might be deliberate. We look at the success of others and tell ourselves a story about how that’s not available for us. We decide something won’t work out before we’ve even begun to try.
Wehen there is uncertainty of outcome, our minds naturally fill in the blanks, because that’s what the human brain needs to do, to complete the story and make sense of the unknown or unexplained, but they don’t always choose the kindest explanation or story!
Like last week, you can choose one or all of the cards I have chosen for us today to noodle on this week. Take a slow breath and look at the images, read the descriptions and see what comes up for you.
