Sandra L. Young · Sandra’s Vintage Vibes

If we’re linked on Facebook or Instagram, you may have seen my first Divine Vintage reel. I vowed to post one short reel a week in 2026, featuring a garment from my humongous collection. These beauties deserve to be admired! I guesstimate this red-fringed beauty hails to around 1920-22. Click play to learn more…

I started off by narrating my first four reels. But for the next three, I shot just 30 seconds of silent modeling. I’ll add music underneath and write some brief comments. If you’d like to check these reels out and let me know which version you prefer, I’d be grateful! In addition to posting on Facebook as Sandra L. Young, I’m at SandraYoung_Author on Instagram and am also dabbling with dropping them on Pinterest and YouTube.

Speaking of videos…friends started sending me this clip of Taylor Swift listing her favorite book tropes: a mysterious, gorgeous mansion with a ghost, whispers of murders from the past, family secrets, and complicated romances. Yes, that’s a great fit for Divine Vintage. BUT, she's into audiobooks and I don't have one.

Sigh...a girl can dream. One good word from Taylor and you're a viral sensation. She's the bomb!! (This is a screenshot, so the video won’t play, FYI.)

Do you binge-read romance around Valentine’s Day? The Divine Vintage series offers a plethora of dual-timeline, swoony romances. Best of all, The Ghostly Diva features a Valentine’s party event that’s pivotal to the romance, mystery, Justine’s emotional journey, AND her relationship with the sassy ghost. If you read one or more of the stories, I hope you’ll enjoy them and consider leaving a review.

Thank you, also, for subscribing, and I hope you find bursts of joy this year, in books, in friends, in little treats, and fun experiences. The world around us is challenging, so please be kind to yourself and others.
