The Cape Breton Eagles kicked off their four-day rookie camp with a pair of intrasquad games at Centre 200 in Sydney on Thursday.

Team White edged Team Black 6-5 in a shootout in the morning game.
Jérémie Hébert, Samuel Nowlan, Cooper Ludwar, Malek Bélanger and C.J Sawyer scored goals in regulation time for Team White.
Owen Burke scored twice, while Gabriel Lopez-Courcy, Jax Ginnish and Ethan Fraser netted single markers for Team Black.
Jordan Rittenberg and Leo Forance shared time in goal for Team White. Jake Poirier and Alexis Noel were the netminders for Team Black.
In the evening, Team White edged Team Black 4-3.
Sawyer, Ludwar, Brayden Reynolds, Evan Lyver each scored for Team White. Burke had a pair of goals, while Richard added a single marker for Team Black.
Rittenberg and Florence were the goaltenders for Team White. Delisle and Noel were in the crease for Team Black. Poirier was not dressed.
