One shadow is really all you need for an everyday polished eye. Sweep a rich bronze like Cannoli, Biscotti, or Amaretto from the lash line to just above the crease for a wash of warmth. Or, if you’re feeling a little more romantic, try a low-lit shimmer like Affogato or Tartufo for a subtle wash of light.
The technique is simple: swipe, blend, go.
Say you want just a little more… Keep everything you did for work, then add a little definition. Take a shade like Tiramisu or Dolce and use the small end of The Double-Ended Eyeshadow Brush to softly define the lash line.
Rather than one long swipe, try a stamp-and-wiggle motion along the lashes. It’ll give you that softly smoked-out definition without making the whole thing feel too done.
Okay, now we’re really having fun. (Still no 10-minute tutorial!)
Repeat the first two steps, then add a touch of low-lit shimmer over the lid. Granita and Sorbetto are two of our favorites—they catch the light when you move. We’ve been calling this “the Glowy Super Eye” around the office.
