What if you woke up one day and realized you’ve been 'butt-dialing' your way through life? Just reacting, adapting, grinding—without ever stopping to ask if this is the life you actually want? That was me.

I spent years running on autopilot, working hard, trying to level up, only to hit burnout and wonder: What’s the point? So I started questioning everything. What if success isn’t just about working harder?

What if leadership isn’t about being the best, but about trust—like Robin Hood’s team, not some Assyrian king proving his dominance? What if freedom isn’t about having unlimited options, but about mastering yourself—breaking free from addictions, bad habits, and other people’s expectations?

This isn’t just philosophy. This is me putting together, in 30 minutes, everything I’ve learned about taking control—of work, life, purpose. Lessons from Viktor Frankl on suffering, Alex Hormozi on thinking long-term, and my own experience of walking away from a life that wasn’t mine.

If you feel stuck—if you’re tired of grinding through days that don’t feel like *yours*—then maybe it’s time to wake up. What if you could actually design your future instead of just reacting to it?

Let’s figure out what it means to live a good life—for real, and on purpose. \

Video: Don't Find A Niche. Become The Niche.

  • Ask Yourself: “Is this how I want to live?” Don’t just assume today’s habits are the best ones—actively question them.

  • Measure Effort vs. Reward. If you’re burned out, you might be over-investing in things that don’t give enough back.

  • Cut the Mindless Stuff. It’s okay to scroll or watch TV—but do it on purpose, not as a default escape.

  • Decide What You Actually Want. If you don’t define it, you’ll just react to what others expect from you.

  • Control What You Can—Let Go of the Rest. Know the difference between what’s in your power and what isn’t.

  • Be Intentional with Small Decisions. The life you want isn’t built in one big move—it’s shaped by everyday choices.

  • Notice Your Defaults. Pay attention to autopilot habits, knee-jerk reactions, and patterns you fall into.

  • Pause Before Reacting. Whether it’s an argument or an impulse, take five seconds to stop and choose your response.

  • Own Your Addictions. Whether it’s social media, sugar, or approval-seeking, if something controls you, it’s time to regain control.

  • See Leadership as Service. True leadership isn’t about being in charge—it’s about making others stronger.

  • Don’t Over-Advise—Ask Better Questions. Helping others isn’t about dumping answers; it’s about guiding their thinking.

  • Lose the Fear of Being Wrong. Growth comes from making mistakes, admitting them, and moving forward.

  • Think Like a 70-Year-Old. Ask: Will this matter when I’m older? Prioritize things that will still be important decades from now.

  • Focus on Progress, Not Perfection. Small steps done consistently beat big steps taken once.

  • If You’re Stuck, Change the Frame. Instead of “I can’t,” ask, “What’s one thing I can control in this situation?”

  • Your Job Should Serve Your Life, Not Own It. If your work drains you, start designing a way out—even if it’s a small step at first.

  • Work Should Have Meaning. Even if you’re in a job you don’t love, find some way to bring purpose into what you do.

  • Redefine Success. More money and status don’t mean freedom—having choices does.

  • No More Drifting. Every choice should move me closer to the life I actually want.

  • Master Myself First. If I can control my mind, my impulses, and my habits, I can control my future.

  • Help Others Find Their Freedom. The more I break free, the more I want to help others do the same.
