Just another manic monday?
In reality, it was a nice day. My somatic experiencing stuff has been going well, and trying to apply it at training to moderate results. Training was pretty good - moving in the right direction, and slowly finding some preparation for this weekend.
The real highlight of today was my sister’s best friend, Taylor, and her husband, Dave, flew into Paris yesterday for the start of a European adventure. One of my favorite things, if not my favorite thing, about living in a city like this is that people are always unintentionally coming through.
We went to a delish Dim Sum place by Opera, and ordered a nice menu of Gyoza. It’s funny how with old friends, you just fall into the same pattern, and I find it to be the same with family friends. It’s easy to catch up on people, places and things when you’ve known eachother and your families for so long. There’s no need for extra context when your cousin is doing something crazy!
Another little reminder that this city is wonderful!
