A reminder that no war against Iran has been declared, thus the US maritime blockade is unlawful under international law (as is the one against Cuba). Of course the US doesn't care about such niceties when it is violating international maritime law, only the actions of other states it views adversarily.
In case anyone was wondering who the rogue nations are, the US is actively funding and arming a genocide in Gaza by Israel, whose leadership are subject to ICC arrest warrants that both Israel and the US ignore, and is daily violating international maritime law by boarding and seizing vessels in international waters during peacetime (as was its murderous rampage against boats in the Caribbean before Venezuela), and sending the loud clear message it doesn't care about the rules based order it demands everyone but it, and Israel, adhere to.
This has transformed the world into a might makes right jungle where no assurances or laws apply.
But we're the good guys, per the propaganda channels. Meanwhile the price of oil and metals is being tightly controlled in the paper markets so lend the appearance of dollar strength. When that breaks, it's going to be a bloodbath.
It is rather amusing to watch the pronouncements by the US regime literally minutes before the US markets open, designed to swing prices one way or another. I guess if you're making billions insider trading the moves, you don't particularly care about lost credibility as each utterance turns out to be BS. What matters is the money, as always. I predict as much investigation of this action as occurred with Epstein, which is to say less than none. It's the American way. If you're powerful and connected you can get away with anything. It's just the peons who must obey or suffer. Not really any difference than under monarchies of the past. Or banana republics of the present.
