I have been enjoying making collages these days. This collage captures the magical experience I had with migrating swans this past spring that stays with me. The path through the forest leads to happiness.

Let the healing energy flow! If you have been attuned to Reiki, ie you have your level 1 or higher, do join us for Women’s Reiki Shares held here at Crickhollow. We start with a short sharing circle and then begin group healing. Group healing can give a very powerful experience to the person receiving the Reiki treatment. It is also wonderful for Reiki practitioners to get a chance to practice. We finish with time to share our experiences.

dates:

Tuesday July 28, 10 am

Wednesday August 12, 7 pm

Wednesday September 9, 7pm

Tuesday September 29, 10 am

I took this little video during my last Reiki Level 1 class and I think it gives a nice glimpse into our experience. The video starts with two students in the background. One is receiving Reiki and the other is practicing giving someone Reiki for the first time. This is a special moment in our class. We have learned the history of Reiki, the students have been attuned to the energy, we have shared time together getting to know each other, we have learned how to give ourselves Reiki and then we learn how to give Reiki to another person. What a gift!

In the foreground you can see the table where we have been studying. There are some leftover crumbs from when we shared lunch together. Notebooks, bags, and teacups provide comfortable clutter. I then pan in a little closer to the line of stones and other items laid out down the centre of the table. This is from when we were learning about the chakras. I explained what the different chakras are and we had books to refer to for more information. I also had a basket of stones and ornaments, singing bowls, flowers, rose petals, a candle … all to draw from as we brought our spiritual discussion into matter in front of us.

On Saturday August 8 and Sunday August 9 from 10:00am - 3:00pm each day I am teaching Reiki Level 2. If you have taken Reiki Level 1 from me and would like to carry on with your learning do join me! (If you have taken Usui Level 1 somewhere else you are welcome to join as well. You need to book a Reiki session with me ahead of the class and bring your Reiki certificate.) The cost is $450.

The next Reiki Level 2 classes are Tuesday November 3 - Wednesday November 4 and two Saturdays November 7 and November 14.

My next Reiki Level 1 classes are:

One class is on Saturdays October 3 and 10. A second option is Tuesday October 6 - Wednesday October 7, 10 am - 3pm each day. The cost is $325.

To register email rosemary@crickhollow.ca, I look forward to having you in a class!

I am available for one on one Reiki/Sound Healing sessions. These sessions are enormously helpful for releasing anxiety, creating healthy habits, and preventing caregiver burnout. Allow yourself time for self care. Reiki is also a helpful complement to regular healthcare.

To book a session email rosemary@crickhollow.ca or visit our website.

Our next concert is Saturday August 8th at 7pm. Here is some information from Heather:

A bit about behind the scenes: I am so very very grateful for all the folks who help put on barn concerts at Crickhollow. It certainly is a labour of love! Heather Saumer is an incredible musician and also an amazing community maker. She plays music with super creative folks who she invites up here to bring us joy, laughter, community and love. Thank you so much Heather!

Here is a short clip of Heather performing at our last barn concert:

Thank you to Luna for helping with the concession stand, and to Ahren for helping to get the barn ready with Ken and with parking.
