Today I’m on the road with my family as we head off to a vacation on a lake in Canada. So instead of writing a post, I thought I would try something different.
When I first started writing this newsletter, I had a general idea of who might find these topics interesting. But looking at our community today, I am incredibly humbled by the sheer depth of expertise represented in our subscriber list.
We have university library deans, technologists, open infrastructure organizations, repository managers, and academic researchers reading along every week.
Because this community is so uniquely specialized, I want to make sure I am honoring your inbox. I want to ensure that every essay, deep dive, and strategic critique I publish is directly relevant to the real-world challenges, decisions, and technology issues each of you navigates day to day.
To help me do that, could you take 45 seconds to answer these four quick questions? Your responses will directly shape my editorial roadmap for the rest of the year.
Thank you so much for being a part of this community, for sharing your insights in the comments, and for helping me make this newsletter as valuable as possible for the work you do. I read every single response, and I can’t wait to see where we take this publication next.
