December Rope in Seattle

Welcome to the December edition of Rope in Seattle!

December is generally a quiet month for rope events in Seattle, but we’re excited to welcome a new venue: Flower and Snake in Capitol Hill is now open, with an active schedule of events. We now have enough recurring events that we’ve changed how we list weekly events. The new format should be clearer, but please note that we are no longer tracking individual events. Venues sometimes skip events, so double-check the event page before you go.

Interested in bondage, but not sure where to start? Our introductory class will teach you easy and versatile bondage skills as well as basic kink principles.

In this class, we will cover the basic techniques required to tie harnesses. After that we move to learning a chest harness and a hip harness.

In this class, MxBliss will share some of her ‘go-to’ ties when she wants to intimately connect with her rope partners.

Sunday 12/28 at 10:00 AM
This is a class for rope partners who want to have better verbal and nonverbal communication while doing rope suspensions in order to co-craft more intense scenes (and/or enchanting performances).

This class explores the art and structure of improvised harnesses — creating intentional, creative designs beyond standard forms.

Tuesday 1/6 at 6:30 PM
Over the course four Tuesdays, Jacques LeBouc, will introduce the fundamental concepts of rope bondage.

Saturday 1/10 at 2:00 PM
In this class, we’ll explore the essential knowledge and skills that will enable you to start your Shibari journey safely and confidently whether you are tying or being tied.

This hands-on class will prove that a little bit of rope can get a huge reaction, even without suspension or uplines.
