Musician Goran Bregović to perform in Cluj-Napoca in February 2027

The well-known composer and musician Goran Bregović, whose music stems from southeastern European inspiration, will bring the “God Is Not Your Babysitter” tour to BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on February 27, 2027.

According to the organizers, the artists’ music is known throughout the Balkan area thanks to its arrangements for brass instruments, powerful rhythms, and vocals used as instruments, creating an energetic, complex, and deeply melodic sound. His distinctive musical language brings together Balkan and Roma traditions, folk influences, sacred vocal music, and contemporary sounds.

Bregović’s new album, “God Is Not Your Babysitter,” marks a new chapter in this musical journey, taking audiences on a fascinating journey through the Balkans and far beyond its borders, the organizers said.

Bregović will play in Cluj alongside his renowned nine-member band, Wedding and Funeral Band. 

Goran Bregović is internationally known also as a film music composer, particularly for his highly acclaimed collaborations with director Emir Kusturica, for whom he composed the music for classic films such as “Time of the Gypsies,” “Arizona Dream” and “Underground.” 

He is also internationally recognized for his work as a contemporary composer and regularly performs at major international festivals and in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls.
