What a day it was. Literally known as “the day out of time” when Sirius, the Dog Star is closest to Earth. It’s apparently also a Mayan Calendar special event day. It sure was unexpectedly special for me.
Governor Josh had spoken and was leaving with his entourage and many eyes on him as he was the V.I.P. at the Democratic Party pre election rally at the Hilo bandstand. There were maybe 300 people there on a very rainy Saturday afternoon. On his way out Josh saw me, made eye contact and came over. His handshake and hug was so strong and lasted so long that it drew a crowd and felt really extra special good to me! All the while Josh was whispering to me words of brotherly love, kindness and encouragement. Wow. Politics aside, and I have some severe (!) disagreements with the Governor, this was an extraordinary event in my life. I’m so glad to have the photo evidence.
I arrived early to get a good spot.
I handed Josh a Zip-Lok sandwich bag of printed materials which I’ll add here later.
With one stroke of his Executive pen, Governor Josh could set all the captives here free of the bondage of unconstitutional, immoral, strangling prohibition and make these islands famous for goodness, health, wealth, happiness, holiness, sustainability and more.
