Hello and welcome to the April Rocuterie Edit!
Rochester received some sad news a few weeks ago when beloved bakery Alter Ego shut its doors for good. This was not only a great place to grab a gluten-free snack, but they also sold Rebel Cheese (the delicious vegan cheese featured on Shark Tank)!
In fact, they were the only place in Rochester where you could buy Rebel Cheese… until now.
Rocuterie has been using Rebel Cheese on our boards and in our dairy-free classes behind the scenes for the past year. But now that Alter Ego has hung up their hat, Rochester needs a new Rebel Cheese hook-up.
We want to be that for Rochester!
At this time, we don’t have a retail location, so instead, we will be doing Rebel Cheese drops throughout the year.
This will be an opportunity for you to get your hands on some Rebel deliciousness.
Most of the time, the cheese will be available for pre-order, meaning you order it, and then I order directly from Rebel Cheese—saving you retail shipping costs—and you pick up your order from us when it arrives (typical order fulfillment for Rebel wholesale orders is 7-14 days).
On occasion, we will have Rebel Cheese available on hand, and you can just order it from us, choose your pickup date, and you’re good to go.
I’ll let you know what kind of drop it is each time, and you can always ask me any questions you may have.
To get things started, I’m doing a very limited drop this week for the Rebel Cheese I have on hand right now.

I have FIVE 7-ounce rounds of Tomato Herb Fromage by Rebel Cheese available right now!
Tomato Herb Fromage (aka pizza cheese!) is a dairy-free/vegan cashew cheese featuring a Mediterranean herb coating and a sun-dried tomato center.
This cheese is frozen to preserve its freshness, and all you have to do is pop it in your fridge overnight, and it’s ready to use.
Once they’re sold out, they’re sold out until the next drop (which will be a pre-order drop).
Pickup will be THIS SATURDAY, April 18, between 10 am and 11 am at Black Creek Deli in Churchville.
