New age pacifists dropped glock and bomb emojis to the hottest left-field misogynist rap. ‘The BOMB!’ ‘Killer!’ Memes battled for the minds of a generation. Two million smirks to save the earth. Sharon called Tracey ‘a fat bitch’ on Facebook. Nick wasn’t bothered. It happened. David walked into the sea. Sue opened another bottle.
I wrote this in the early days of lockdown, it was initially a little longer but hadn’t aged well. Bizarre, the pace of events over the past few years, shit gets old quick.
