God bless you, Rob Liefeld. I appreciate you covering the criminal abuse that these pieces of opportunistic filth heaped on an elderly, frail Stan Lee. Absolutely awful. The man was an icon in his own right. He had some major pluses. Essentially, he was the town crier, announcer for Comics. …Someone recently said that Comics doesn’t really have one of those today. Frankly, you’re kind of it, Rob. Todd McFarlane also has the credibility to be a spokesman, elder-statesman-type. There are a handful of people who can step up.
Outside of all of this, God has been good to me. I’ve been spending so much money producing comics that it ought to concern people. Granted, I can do exponentially more with a little bit than many people can, I’m still in so deep that unless I win big, I’ll come up short. My HELLFIRE series, which was initially ignored or rejected by something like 50 publishers, now has 2 who’re interested. I have literary agents, film & television professionals talking about & everything. People are approaching me. Big wigs in comics are getting stirred up over it. I give the Lord all of the praise, glory, & honor.
HELLFIRE may very well be one of the greatest & most violent pulp, horror, supernatural, & Christian toned comic book series ever made. Only time will tell. What people do know is that in 1974, a 20 year old preacher named Benny Blue was violently murdered in Youngstown, Ohio. His charred remains laid at the bottom of the frozen Mahoning River for 3 days, when he’d piece the veil between life and death, coming back as what some call divine vengeance, a destroying angel, or something other.
Essentially, this is the series that anyone who likes movies like Se7en, Frailty, Red Dragon, Taxi Driver, The Crow will be completely obsessed with. It also introduces an array of what’ll likely be breakout characters. HELLFIRE #1-5 + HELLFIRE ANNUAL #1, which are all flip-books & include SMALLDOG #1-3, HOLY GHOST EXORCIST #1-2, & PHUKET MAMA #1 will publish NOV 2026 - APR 2027.
Of course, that only skims the surface of what is going on. Quite frankly, I need all of the help that I can get. I need people who can be trusted, believe in me, & very importantly, know what they’re doing. …While other folks are consumed with tackling the Asian Manga Market, as though they can’t see anything besides it, I am after the American, Canadian, European, & India’s Comic Book Markets. …if you ever want to have a business conversation, I’d count it an honor.
