The Crescent Nebula is located approximately 5,000 light-years from Earth and is about 25 light-years across. The nebula is relatively young (about 40,000 years old) and is created by strong stellar winds from a Wolf-Rayet star.

Superior, CO Tesla dealership 8/15/26: Jean’s 65th Saturday;

45 protesters and more honking than ever, including drivers of dump trucks, semis, landscaping pickups and concrete trucks -- working class people enraged at the Orange Rapist, we surmise. When we started 17 months ago, the minority of Tesla drivers honked. Now almost all do. Signs of the times they are a changin’...

These are photos from the GLOVES OFF KENTUCKY  protest in Lexington, KY August 15.  Those ICE  Stun Gloves are being assembled/supplied here and we aren’t going to be silent about that!

Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance and Progress Kentucky wanted to let everyone know that using torture devices on the streets of American cities does NOT represent our Kentucky values.

It was unusually HOT (107⁰ F), but that didn’t stop a group of dedicated and motivated patriots from staking their spot on the 4 corners of a busy intersection for 2 hours today!

Thanks for all you do to keep us informed and motivated!

Citizens of all ages and backgrounds of Berkshire County in western Massachusetts continue to gather many times a week, on city streets and highway overpasses, to declare our complete and total disgust with the tRump administration, and the entirety of its foreign and domestic policies. But what angers us most of all is the corruption and disregard of the rule of law, which challenges everything we know to be great in our country. Our resolve is proven by the continuity of our protests, and the creativity in our messaging, as we can no longer trust the corrupted corporate media to tell the truth about how dire the situation has become.

Life is becoming more and more expensive as the war of choice drags on.

Our Newburyport Democratic City Committee celebrated one year of protesting every Saturday through all kinds of weather.  We had approximately 80 protestors celebrating our accomplishments and wins over the past year. We missed one week during a blizzard, but only because the city banned parking on the streets.

August 15, 2026:  It was a beautiful morning to Stand Up For Democracy with Champlain Valley Indivisible in Williston, VT.  We were greeted with many honks, waves and thumbs up, and very few negative gestures.

=================================

This group known as the “Fascist Fighters” has been protesting in front of the Tesla dealership just outside Ann Arbor, Michigan every Saturday since February 2025. We’ve braved sub-zero temperatures and sunny 95 degree days without fail.

We have a rotating group of 15-25 each week, and always welcome new people.

Today we noticed far fewer middle-finger salutes from passing cars. Maybe the tide is turning

=================================

Lots of support today from traffic, and from bicyclists. It seems many people are TIRED OF THIS SH*T and ready to VOTE.

San Jose, CA.  Indivisible San Jose welcomed 21 people on the overpass today - weather was perfect and spirits were high.  Both messages were well received, especially the one about the USS Lincoln. Several new folks joined us today, which is always encouraging.

=================================

It was a little cooler Friday afternoon as North Country Resilience volunteers displayed messages in Franconia Notch, Franconia, NH.  We received an amazing number of honks and waves from passengers in the southbound lane on I-93.  Our message for them: CANADA   A  FRIEND.  Northbound drivers also responsed well to RESTORE JUSTICE: VOTE.

=================================

Every Wednesday since March 2025, Treasure coast Indivisible has staged a protest at Rep Brian Mast’s Stuart FL office. This last week we were joined by Florida Alliance of Retired Americans to give him their Zero Award. Usually this time of year FLARA gives Hero Awards for supporting Social Security and Medicare. This year it was a Zero Award for his lack of support for the 2 agencies.

Our Democratic candidate for County Legislator came to stand with us and took a selfie:

Captured this photo before all the troops arrived. We had 12 lively, waving, dancing wonderful friends acknowledging the people we faced in the cars with our attention and our waves!

=================================

For more than a year on a nearly weekly basis this group has gathered to march a slow somber march around Middlebury Vermont, stopping at several points along the route on Cross Street Bridge and Main Street Bridge. We have observed over the year a decrease of middle fingers and nasty comments to an increase of encouraging honks waves and thumbs up.

=================================

We were back at the Pinnacle Hill Rd bridge over I-93 in New Hampton NH

on Friday. Lots of northbound weekend traffic, and lots of support! 214 honks, too many waves to count, and less than 10 negative responses that we noticed.

We added the R U Kind message just below the flag, hoping to create a bit of cognitive dissonance for the MAGA crowd.

USS Lincoln.

Robert: As a senior citizen distressed by the conditions on the vessel, I wanted to show my support in some way.  I ordered a bunch of 9” yellow bows and will hang one on my curbside mailbox and give the others away to neighbors.
