In the meantime I’ve been prepping for this interview with Trevor of God’s Eye View podcast. His podcast focuses on contemporary Science. Listening to him turned me on to YouTube channels like the Brit Alex O’Connor who discusses and interviews philosophers and scientists on whether or not God exists according to Science. Trevor’s podcast often focuses on how dense and overconfident a lot of the scientists are in discounting spirit and promoting pure materialism when they have no cogent theory of how a thought is created in the chemical neuronal soup of the brain. It’s called the “Hard Problem” of Science. What exactly is mind? Science doesn’t know but they are sure it has nothing to do with anything “supernatural” like a soul or a realm of pure spirit. But...they are sure that Science WILL KNOW ALL ABOUT IT VERY SOON! 🤣 It’s “promissory materialism” as the great neurologist Michael Engor calls it.
