G'day from Australia

Dear friends,

Greetings from the land down under, where—it was asserted several years ago—“women glow and men plunder.” It’s also the land where I co-hosted a radio show yesterday with my old friend Stuart Coupe: a writer, raconteur, and erstwhile manager and promoter who played a critical role at the beginning of my writing career over two decades ago.

As Stuart wrote on Facebook, “We haven't seen each other for 23 years but it seemed like only an hour since we'd last chatted in person.” Indeed. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. And what a blessing it is to be back here, reconnecting.
