[Still Writing] is beautifully written, with tons of passages that I’ve underlined, put stars next to and generally jotted notes about. Shapiro has managed to beautifully capture what writing feels like to me.
This bookis excellent because it tells the entirety of the East German story, beginning decades before WWII, from the East German perspective and it does so without the presumptions of many books on the Cold War.
Can the device itself be easily shared? Is the experience of using it something that only the owner (or primary user) can fully appreciate, understand or usable - is it too personal to share with someone else?
