The Après Edit: The Jewelry I’m Wearing on Repeat

Last week, I got to host something really special with ALV Jewels.

Not just a shopping event…but a moment. A room full of women, a little champagne, house music and jewelry layered on sun-kissed skin… it felt like a reminder of who you are when you’re not rushing and when you’re truly present in a moment.

And that’s where this idea of Après came from.

Après means after.

But not in a rushed, onto-the-next-thing kind of way. More like an exhale.

It’s that moment when you take a breath, look around, and realize…this is actually the part I want to stay in a little longer.

We talk so much about being present. About creating small rituals that bring you back to yourself.

And I realized… the “after” is where that actually happens.

The collection we curated, The Après Edit, was built around that exact feeling.

Not statement pieces for big moments or for the performance of it all. But life’s little luxuries: the pieces you reach for in the in-between.

I also designed this necklace for the event and it was such a hero piece! I’ve been stopped several times in public asking about it. A true gem, pun intended!

I think for a long time, I’ve been someone who’s always onto the next thing.

The next goal.
The next idea.
The next version of myself.

And lately, I’ve been trying to stay a little longer in the in-between.

To actually enjoy the after.

You don’t need a big moment to feel like yourself.

Sometimes it’s putting on your favorite piece of jewelry after a shower or sitting with your coffee before anyone else wakes up.

That’s the energy of Après.

And honestly, it might be my favorite part.

If you ended up coming to the event, thank you. It meant so much to me.

And if not, I hope this gives you a little permission to slow down and savor the moment after… just a bit longer!

xx
Erika
