Life has a way of blindsiding us with challenges we can't control. No matter how hard we try, the universe will unfold as it’s meant to, indifferent to our plans or protests. But what we can control is how we respond to the chaos and the kind of person we choose to be when everything seems to be falling apart.

I’ve always believed in karma, or something like it. Life is all about the exchange of energy—every action, every word, ripples out into the world. While putting out positivity might not always yield immediate rewards, it contributes to a much larger battle between light and dark, shaped by the choices we all make.

So while it may be easy—sometimes even comforting—to give up, convincing yourself that the world is against you and playing the victim. Don’t. Remember that your perspective, the way you choose to see things, and the energy you project all matter. They’re part of something bigger than just you. As Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."

Choose to be a Light in the World

I can’t promise that choosing this path will guarantee your dreams come true or that the energy you send out will come back to you tenfold. I won’t pretend to have that sort of a grasp on how life works. But I can tell you this: the energy you put into the world will draw in the kind of people who can help guide you to happiness. More importantly, striving to be a source of positivity for those around you—especially during your toughest times—will be its own reward.
