This week I will be posting the last installments of "America On The Precipice.” So I want to thank all of you, very much, for sticking with me. I wrote this, above all, because I love what America can and should be. It has been great knowing that you share that feeling, as well as an intense opposition to the profound betrayal of our fundamental values being wrought by Donald Trump.
This week's installments involve a detailed analysis of what needs to change, including a comprehensive program for economic inclusion; a rethinking of key points in the Democrats’ agenda; and proposals for governmental and democratic reform. I don't for a moment think that what I say is inarguable, but I certainly mean it as a start - including for more debate and discussion and, most of all, for action.
I lead with the key point: nothing will happen without serious citizen engagement by millions of Americans, doing whatever they best can do. That means all of us.
Again, I am so very grateful to be sharing ideas with you, and look forward to your final thoughts.
