I want to try & explain the relationship between contracts & dollars (as I see it):

Capital is described in contracts that live in the Portable Document Format.

Capital is created when people make agreements to do something together.

Currency is exchanged for those contracts when people wish to join creators.

Companies are formed where capital is allocated to workers in the form of PDFs & salaries are paid in the form of USD.

If a company becomes valuable to other people, they will exchange even more currency to join it. This could be:

  • Funding round

  • Acquisition

  • IPO

At these moments, lawyers will exchange the contracts for dollars.

There is a flow between the PDF & the USD.

That is how technological capitalism works today (in my view).

I have been here many times.

These are the ways I know how:

🤓 Be useful (get hired at a startup)

👨🏼‍🔬 Be Creator (start a startup)

⚔️ Be formidable (show up at a startup & just help)

🏞️ Be adventurous (go to Silicon Valley immediately)

👨‍🏫 Be voracious (read an insane number of tweets & scientific papers)

There are more ways but these require lots of money.

If you are curious about this process, I want to help you on your path.

Today’s YouTube is on this topic. I am sat here in the middle of a Stream:
