he apologizes fast, before you’ve even finished explaining all the reasons why it hurt, the apology is always the escape, never the repair…
he tells you he’s changed but never shows you, he needs you to believe it more than he needs to live within the action of it…
he’s different for a week then its back to the bullshit, and the old ways come back wearing better words…
he changes what he says… he never changes what he does…and when you brint it up again, somehow you’re the one who won’t let the past go..
that’s always the tell…that’s always what you should be focused on…
a man who’s actually changed.. doesn’t need you to keep forgiving the same thing because the thing stops happening…
this is so vital… so damn important!
if you’re still forgiving it, he hasn’t changed…
you just got better at accepting it…
