⭐⭐⭐ We get a little fallout from Mysterio’s lie, the return of popular bad guys, and some Three Amigos (The Three Stooges?) fun. I don’t have a better idea, but messing up the multiverse because you and your pals didn’t get into MIT is a bit of a head-scratcher. Still a decent next movie in our family quest towards Doomsday.
Here are some random thoughts. I wish the Spider-Man gang had met up sooner. Though many people hated switching back and forth between dark, sad storylines and typical Marvel schtick, I’m fine with it. Willem Dafoe reprising the Green Goblin was awesome. I wish I’d gotten more time with him. Back to my previous comments about Dr. Strange, he’s kinda awesome and OP, and I love that the Marvel creators give his cape personality. Though a guy who has been so protective of reality deciding to go along with Peter’s dumb plan seems a bit out of character.
