Give a man a fish they say And you feed him for a day Teach a man to fish, however You won’t have to feed him again ever I suppose those sayings are true Especially the ones that aren’t new But life is rarely simple or clear As the stories we hold dear We watched a bear with cubs four And feeding them was quite a chore She tried to teach them to fish But learning was not their wish They preferred to lie in the sun While mom got the fishing done And they’d complain and cry Without giving fishing a try I suppose the young were learning While mother her hibernation earning And how all of this do I know? We got to watch the show!
