When God Doesn’t Answer Your Prayers

Sometimes it feels like our prayers never make it past the ceiling. Like God’s gone quiet when we need Him most.

My guess is you’ve had that experience. You’ve begged for healing, for restoration in your marriage, for that sin to go away, or for the job you desperately need. And instead of an answer, you got… nothing. Silence.

If that’s where you are, I just want to say this: you’re not alone. And you’re not doing something wrong.

Almost every Christian goes through seasons like this at some point in their journey with God. I know I’ve been through a few of those seasons. And that’s what I want to tackle in this post, what should we do when it feels like God isn’t answering our prayers?

And listen, that’s a tough question. And while I can’t give you a simple answer or a neat theological bow to tie it all together, I can walk with you through it.

Here’s what I’ve learned when God feels silent.
