Pictures: Sauerland-Museum AND ECOSIA financial report AND Choosing to stay human AND The Top 100 Countries for Foreign Investment
"The trouble with automating too early is that you scale the mess." -- Jurgen Appelo
Just back from a 2.5 day trip to the Sauerland today. “The Sauerland is “Germany’s inspiring outdoor region” - and for good reason. Because on 5,000 square kilometers in the swaying low mountain range landscape, characterized by dense forests, wide meadows and clear lakes, there are so many opportunities for experiences of all kinds.”
Great weather, even with rain what is good for the nature, location & food, and just 2 hours away from home. One of the largest contiguous forested areas in Germany, a good fit to the ECOSIA financial report from Apr-26 by the way.
The QUANTIC Executive MBA (EMBA) is proceeding with the next main topic tomorrow - Data and Decisions - all about data collection, statistics, probability, regression, and data-driven decisions. The exam week will start on 06-Jul-26.
Tuesday morning I will be hosting a 90 minute workshop for our Cyber Security team. Looking forward to it, as a lot of the participants were really interested in their result of the Personality Test, and what I will be doing with the aggregated information for the whole team. 1.54 billion people have taken a 16Personalities test so far, a great database of results and insights into differences by country and culture. Knowledge that should be used more often, for individuals as well as in team setups.
“Only 10 minutes to get a “freakishly accurate” description of who you are and why you do things the way you do. In our free type descriptions you’ll learn what really drives, inspires, and worries different personality types, helping you build more meaningful relationships.”
Little Openings. Moments that invite connection by Jono Hey
The email from sketchplanations just arrived in my inbox, a good fit to the personality types topic, and kind of selective perception.
I see the same for my EMBA finalization project - the best possible strategic advice to use the 75 - 80 billion US$ that SpaceX might earn with the IPO mid Jun-26. Articles about potential investments show up more often, as we come closer to the IPO date. Some examples below:
