Off for a summer of Adventure

Last orders at the bar. Miaow. Now, there always seem to be blind spots when you travel, or maybe that’s just when I travel? A blind spot of mine had been the weather on Koh Lanta at that time of year. I just sort of assumed the weather in Thailand always fell into one of two categories: Nice and Not Cold.

Everyone loves a furry friend, and I am no exception. So when we checked into a new two-bedroom apartment we’d booked for the next 3 months, and the receptionist casually mentioned that there was a family of monkeys living ‘next door’ — I was more excited than concerned. Being near the local wildlife was all part of Thai life, after all. You saw snakes when you went for hikes, and you lived next…

Koh Lanta's worldschooling community and finding friends who feel like home.

And a thank you
