The Office of Law Enforcement Oversight (OLEO) has made seven community-driven recommendations to the King County Sheriff’s Office in a report on responding to increased federal immigration enforcement within the county.
In partnership with Renton Regional Community Foundation (RRCF) and other local organizations, a new county initiative will help support immigrant and refugee communities throughout King County.
Final results are in for the August primary, which includes ballots on Congressional Districts 8 and 9, which include Renton, and Legislative District 11, which includes the cities of Renton, Kent, Tukwila, south Seattle and parts of unincorporated King County. Overall voter turnout for the August Primary reached 37%, with 534,500 ballots cast out of 1,454,559 registered voters.
