Lecture will be recorded and archived at RU Center for Psychoanalysis Substack.

We will be meeting online TODAY for 2 hours beginning at 12PM NYC (9AM Vancouver/ 5PM London/ 18:00 Stockholm/ 19:00 Beirut).
This is our second to last class in this course! Our final class will be on Saturday, September 12th, with focus on Frantz Fanon and liberation psychology, Thomas Szasz, R.D. Laing, and the anti-psychiatry movement, as well as Patricia Gherovici’s The Puerto Rican Syndrome (2003).
This will set us up nicely for what we’re diving into next: a close reading of From the Clinic to the Streets: Psychoanalysis for Revolutionary Futures (2026) by Dr. Lara Sheehi. I’ve recently outlined the schedule for the next year and will talk more about next year’s plans for RU Center in class today.
See you soon!
