There has been a lot of coverage lately about how efforts from the federal government to identify and cut waste have had negative consequences for our state and nation.
Naturally, North Carolinians are concerned about this. From our national parks, to our universities, to hospitals for veterans — too many cuts are impacting our state and there seems to be no end. We discussed some of this and more in a recent video:
Other House Democrats in North Carolina have been speaking out about these cuts and their impact on our state. We will continue to do all we can within our power to call it out — even if just to bring a spotlight to these issues when there isn’t enough attention on them:
I encourage you to stay invested in our state, to stay tuned into what is happening both in North Carolina and across the nation, and to stay in touch. Details are still being solidified, but there are plans to hold a town hall in Siler City early next month. Whether you are a constituent in House District 54 or not, feel free to come.
