MusicEdx—the Music Entrepreneur Development Experience—has officially launched the Caribbean’s first virtual campus dedicated to music business education.
What Is MusicEdx?
MusicEdx stands for Music Entrepreneur Development Experience. We are a comprehensive educational platform built specifically for music professionals who want to master the business side of the industry. Whether you’re an artist, producer, manager, publisher, or aspiring administrator, MusicEdx provides the practical training and certification you need to protect your rights, maximize your revenue, and build a sustainable career in music.
We’re not just another online course—we’re a full-scale virtual institution designed to transform creative talent into business-savvy entrepreneurs.
Why This Matters
For too long, our creative professionals have had to look outside the region for world-class music business training. We’ve watched talent go underdeveloped, rights go unprotected, and opportunities slip away—not because of lack of skill, but because of lack of access to proper business education.

Working alongside the brilliant team at Avaris Interactive here in Jamaica, and our partners at IslandRock Entertainment in the U.S., we’ve created something truly special—a fully immersive virtual learning environment that rivals any physical institution.

We’ve Already Started Making History
On October 1st, we launched our inaugural program: the Certified Music Registration Professional (CMRP) certification—the first of its kind anywhere. This program is training music professionals to become qualified music business administrators who understand rights, registrations, royalties, and revenue.
The response? Overwhelming. Our mid-week evening classes filled up immediately. We still have spaces available in our Saturday morning sessions, so if you’ve been thinking about leveling up your music business knowledge, now is the time.
