I’m still processing what happened these past few days.
Coup State Episode 5 dropped last Wednesday. By this morning: ~2000 new subscribers on Substack. 3,000+ new followers on Threads. 140,000+ cross-platform views. My Regenerative Futurist Substack jumped to #5 in the Top 100 Rising in the Education category. Many of you supported the work through tips and paid subscriptions.
Your shares, your encouragement in comments, your messages of support from around the world (even as far as Australia) the additional evidence several of you sent - it matters more than you know.
Here’s what I think resonated: This isn’t just data. It’s not just information, knowledge, or even wisdom. It’s synthesis, the missing piece so many are thirsting for right now.
As a futurist, researcher, educator and strategic foresight adviser, I’ve spent 20+ years applying this insight: knowing something isn’t enough. You need to apply and deploy it correctly.
The internet gave us unlimited information (and misinformation and disinformation). We’re drowning in data, hot takes, bad actors, and fragmented knowledge. But synthesis - the ability to see patterns across systems, connect disparate pieces, and understand how to navigate what’s coming - that’s what lets us act strategically instead of just react anxiously. And in these VUCA times, we need synthesis more than ever.
20+ hours analyzing House Oversight documents doesn’t just produce findings. It becomes a framework you can use to see elite capture networks anywhere, be it in your industry, your city, your institutions. You learn not just what I found, but how to find it yourself.
That’s investigative education, not just reporting.
So here’s what most of you don’t know yet: I’ve been mapping the global Coup State ecosystem and convergent endgames since February. Epstein’s network was just one piece in a much larger infrastructure puzzle.
Here’s the full map, simplified (so far, and evolving):
Since April, I’ve been investigating the architecture of what I call “Coup State”: the long-planned seizure of U.S. government by a menagerie of interest-aligned political, financial, religious and ideological bedfellows, both foreign and domestic. Each episode maps one part of the ecosystem:
Episode 1: The Pope and the Pretender (Christofascist networks)
Episode 2: From Divine Law to Dictatorship (Dominionism and religious far-right ideology as judicial capture)
Episode 3: How Coors Beer Money Brewed American Fascism (Corporate funding and ideological origin of the conservative infrastructure)
Episode 4: The Harrying of the Republic (How this regime is waging Total War via 8 interconnected components as a new Norman Conquest )
Episode 5: Epstein and the Anatomy of Elite Capture (Shadow operators, academia, tech elites, dark capital flows - overlapping and commingling of influence)
Each built on the framework. But Episode 5 showed what happens when investigative mapping meets public database + named networks + verifiable evidence.
So here’s what’s next: I’m bringing that same depth to every remaining box on this map.

We can’t fix what we can’t name. That’s why series like Coup State matters: we’re standing at a hinge moment in history. As systems collapse and we’re forced into a long overdue reckoning of what got us here, understanding the architecture of extraction becomes essential. Not just to resist the destructive forces, but to build what comes next with clear eyes about what we must face, reconcile and resconstruct.
But that’s only half the equation.
The other half - the more important half - is co-creating something bigger, better, different. Just naming the problem(s) is not enough. We must educate, act and transform. During upheaval, and beyond it. As philosopher Atonio Gramsci wrote as a political prisoner under Mussolini’as fascist regime, “The old world is dying, the new world struggles to be born: Now is the time of monsters.”
I don’t want to just map the collapse in these dark times (globally not just the U.S.). I want to help light the path through it.
This is where my other work comes in: regenerative economics and leadership tranforming the Future of Work, Learning and Being; strategic foresight for navigating what’s coming; how the world is reordering itself, what it means to build in the ruins, the signals pointing toward what’s emerging.
Coup State shows you the colluding factors and chaos agents behind the architecture of extraction. The rest of my work will show you the architecture of regeneration.
Over the next months, we’ll continue to systematically map and dissect each box on the Coup State infrastructure, with the same investigative rigor as Episode 5. I’ll teach the methodology so you can do this mapping yourself.
But we won’t stop there. Some weeks, we’ll be in House Oversight documents expanding on the Epstein documents. Other weeks, we’ll explore what regenerative AI that serves humanity and the planet (as oposed to our current generative AI) could look like; navigating new 21st century skills, mindset and paradigms; or what culture, storytelling and hidden histories can teach us about our relationship with technology, our environment and ourselves.
All of it connects. All of it matters. And I’ll show you how the pieces fit.
This is the synthesis journey we’re on together: Investigative education that doesn’t just inform you, but equips you to navigate, interpret, and ultimately rebuild in a world being remade.

Each investigation brings the same depth as Episode 5 - verifiable analysis, databases where and when applicable, network mapping, and the methodology/frameworks so you can learn to see these systems yourself.
