This week, Reduxx broke a disturbing exclusive revealing that the Federal Bureau of Prisons had been ordered by a court to provide “gender-affirming treatments,” including laser hair removal and feminizing voice therapy, to an incarcerated man convicted of producing child pornography and sexually abusing his son.

The inmate, born Brian Buckingham and now known as Nani Love Buckinham, argued that the prison system’s refusal to continue his hormone therapy and provide further cosmetic services amounted to cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment, as well as a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

A magistrate judge agreed, recommending that the Bureau arrange consultations for the requested procedures, noting they were considered “medically necessary” to treat his “gender dysphoria.”

While the Bureau has filed an objection, the order is likely to be reaffirmed. If Buckingham ultimately receives his requested “gender affirming” cosmetic procedures, it could mark one of the first successful challenges by a transgender inmate to the Trump administration’s executive restrictions on federal prisoners receiving “gender affirming” care while incarcerated.

A trans-identified male on trial for murder has admitted to cannibalizing his victim’s corpse after killing him. Gabriella Sears, born Dereck Donald Sears, has been in prison since 2021 for the brutal murder, which took place at his residence in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Brian Buckingham, 47, changed his name to “Nani Love” and declared that he identified as “female” just before he was sentenced for the horrific crime.
