This week's area scrimmage schedule

We’re going to make this post short and sweet this morning.

Scrimmages start today as every area team gets their first look at live action against an opponent.

Most of our schools are scrimmaging Friday, but Memorial and four Class 2A programs are going tonight.

Below is a list of every area 11-man scrimmage this week. Coaches gave me varsity times for scrimmages, but obviously smaller schools may go with both teams at once.

I’m coaching tennis in Graham tonight, but Jonathan Hull and I will try to get out to a couple of these if possible.

And remember, nobody cares if you win or lose a scrimmage. It’s a matter of getting reps and how you look doing it.

Alvord at City View, 6 p.m.

Muenster at Jacksboro, 6:30 p.m.

Electra at Nocona, 6 p.m.

Roscoe at Archer City, 6 p.m.

Abilene TLCA at Olney, 6 p.m.
