It was a bizarre 2025 season for Holliday.
The Eagles started out 5-1 and finished 1-4.
They were ranked multiple times during the year and increased their district winning streak to 31 games, but once City View snapped that, Holliday lost its final three 6-3A appearances.
A program known for its defense, the Eagles surrendered 34 points a game, but the good news is Holliday averaged 44 points.
Among the five offensive and four defensive returning starters are quarterback/safety Landon Jones and running back/linebacker Brayden Hamill.
After having an area record of eight consecutive seasons of double-digit victories snapped in 2025, the Eagles will look to bounce back this fall.

Q: Winning seven games and beating a district champion in the playoffs is considered a great season for most programs. But I’m sure it wasn’t for Holliday. What do you need to do to get back to that lofty standard?
