E-kit drummers, how do you chart your kit for open hihat vs. closed hihat vs. ride cymbal?

Hey, this may be a bit of a niche question, but I have an Alesis Nitro Max and I'm wondering how others program their ekit for RB4. My goal is for the ekit sound output to match what's occurring in songs as best as possible. I understand that RB uses yellow cymbal for closed hi hat and then blue cymbal might either be open hi hat or ride, right? Is one setting more common? I haven't been doing…
