I noticed a bunch of tiny scratches on the screen this afternoon when the sun hit it just right. I don't like dust on the screen, so I've been cleaning it with a car wash towel but, it must have debris on it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any idea if I can remove them or go the dealer and ask them how much it's going to cost of, they replace it. It's probably really expensive. Thanks.…
I made a post a couple weeks ago about my 12v dying again and wondering if it was the ICCU because a car shouldn't kill 2 batteries in under 3.5 years and 24k miles. Well you awesome folks said it was the 12v and get an AGM, which I did. Before that I called corporate and complained saying this car is a lemon. Well they called yesterday and said it is (I'm in CA, so I don't know how that applies…
Every time I look at this thing, I’m reminded how well Hyundai nailed the design. The 2025 IONIQ 5 Limited still looks fresh, distinctive, and futuristic without being overdone. The pixel lighting, sharp lines, and retro-inspired shape give it a look that really doesn’t blend in with everything else on the road. There are a lot more EVs to choose from now, but I still think the IONIQ 5 is one of…
I just bought a 2022 IONIQ SEL. Everything looked good on the car when I checked it, but I didn't know the mirrors folded in so I found out the hard way that the motor for the right mirror was not operational. Then I got home and found out the charger port is having trouble both connecting and disconnecting chargers, with today it just not accepting a DC fast charger at all (checked the charger…
I’ve tried turning off Apple CarPlay, driven the car a bit, lights off, and foot off the brake when I turn the car off, but still I’m never prompted (not even the quick two second one) to update. The screen just goes completely black. Anyone seen this before? Every other OTA has worked. submitted by /u/_Subtracty [link] [comments]
What are your thoughts on regen levels? I've mostly been using level 3 and have done a bit of i-pedal. submitted by /u/Dangerous_Mess_4413 [link] [comments]
Hey, I've had my I5 about a year and 12,000 miles (not a single problem so far) and figure I ought to take it in for a complimentary service inspection. Colorado folks, who have you had the best luck with? We're closest to Mountain Hyundai but Planet in Golden and Stevinson aren't too much further away. I got mine from Greeley, which is too far to go for service. Thanks in advance! submitted by…
Just wanted to share my data point for those who might be interested or who have had similar experiences — My car battery is going to need replacing according to the dealership service center. Two cells are reporting as bad. The car had left me stranded twice in turtle mode at around 15% battery each time. I have a 2023 Limited AWD with 94,000 miles. ICCU replaced last year. Primarily charge at…
So I just received the warranty extension letter. What puzzles me is that they only cover cars built until November 2024...knowing i read about 2026 having iccu issues...strange eh? submitted by /u/Thin_Spring_9269 [link] [comments]
I have a 2021 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (72.6 kWh) and have been monitoring the individual cell voltages via OBD. At rest, the cell voltage difference is relatively small, around 0.02 V (20 mV). However, under acceleration, the difference increases significantly, easily reaching ~0.2 V (200 mV). There is also one particular cell that is consistently lower than all the others. Under load, this cell drops…
