How can I connect my PC to another LAN network?

I have changed my router, and the new router's LAN uses subnet 192.168.178.0/24 . The original LAN subnet was 192.168.1.0/24 . I need to be able to connect (occasionally) to another device with a fixed IP address of 192.168.1.12 . How can I do this?
