Just as a heads-up, there's been a recent discussion about how to handle experimental open-ended questions that are asking for a code review on Stack Overflow. I bounced between this community and Stack Overflow doing some research. I even posted an answer on this question here, but it has 14 down-votes and won't show up on the home page here on meta, so it's likely buried.

Long story short: due to the complete lack of boundaries and guidance around open-ended questions, it looks like Stack Overflow supports code reviews now. Most of them I've seen would be off-topic here, but a number would have been a great fit. Not anymore. They will never make it here.

To be honest, I'm not posting this to prod action from this community. I just felt some responsibility because I posted a meta SO question asking how to handle this at Stack Overflow, and basically none of us regular users know how, except to allow the questions.

I really wasn't trying to expand the scope of Stack Overflow. I thought it would spawn a discussion whereby the SO community decides to delete such posts, but we have limited options.
