Welcome to Tower Thoughts!

Hello, folks -

I would like to introduce you to Tower Thoughts, a new series we have started on YouTube. This is something that I tried to bring to Substack last year, but kept having challenges with the videos loading properly (or at all) and the Substack “help desk” (that’s a generous term) was of no actual help at all. So, on to Plan B.

What is Tower Thoughts? As I’ve mentioned, the breaking news is breaking at an ultra-fast pace. Far faster than my fingers can type. Sometimes, it makes more sense to talk it out. I wanted there to be a video component to Politics & Pentacles, but this platform was not cooperating. It was frustrating, to say the least.

After a good deal of research, I decided to pivot that element over to YouTube. Yes, that platform has a LOT of problems, too. That is the problem - all of these tech platforms have become more problematic than productive, so it’s a matter of picking your poison. Ugh…

Anyway, Tower Thoughts will take the basic concepts of Politics & Pentacles - Money Culture, current events, economics, mundane astrology, history, tarot, and whatever else makes sense - and put it into long-form video content. I am still working out how to provide some extra perks for paid subscribers, and have a few ideas I am finessing, so please keep a watch for that. If there is something you would like to see, please share!

Note that this is not an abandonment of the written Politics & Pentacles; it is simply an addition to. Just like our work on Patreon, there is some overlap in topics, but a different focus of the presentation of content. I plan on adding more small business content to the YouTube channel in the near future, so please check it out and give us a free subscribe there!
