So where is the app?

A great question which I shall answer in general terms which I hope may allow readers to see between the lines?

If you have an outlet for an app like say Google does with its Play store for Android devices, then anybody wanting to use this as the outlet for their own app has to do exactly what is expected.

If Google should for instance say: ‘We will only approve this app if you stand on one leg and blow smoke rings using a Cuban cigar” — then that is what you have to do.

You dare not ask whether or not this requirement is ridiculous, reasonable or over the top because in the hypothetical example given you might get into trouble.

If you did get into trouble they might then require that you now also recite the poetry of Rudyard Kipling at the same time.

And you certainly wouldn’t want them to get annoyed and just say: “No”

This is how things are when you have a monopoly and are both judge and jury — hypothetically speaking of course.

To further confound matters if the app you are producing is a little bit irksome and promotes something that, let’s say: ‘Goes against the mainstream and a lot of vested interest’ you might find you encounter extra layers of tedium ...just because.

In this hypothetical situation you would have to keep biting your lip, keep complying and maybe watering down your app offering at the request of ever more demands while keeping your fingers crossed and hope you might eventually succeed with gaining approval.

Regarding the Reality of Illness app which a lot of people are very keen to get hold of, obviously nothing like this is accounting for the endless delays.
