In my second cartoon entry, I wanted to address the mental fog that sets in when our brain, body, and heart aren’t on the same page. I call this the “Too Many Tabs Open” syndrome.

When your brain is yelling about emails and school forms while your heart feels like it’s drowning, you aren’t just busy—you’re experiencing a total system overload.

The Daily Practice: My favorite way to close those background tabs isn’t a complex strategy—it’s a simple “3-Task Reset.”

  1. Take a deep breath.

  2. Write everything down.

  3. Circle just 3 tasks for your current block of time.

The rest of the tabs don’t disappear forever; they just have to wait their turn. As I’ve learned in my own practice, forgetting the rest is the only way to actually finish the three in front of you.
